xi, 209 pages. First issue of the second edition. As noted in the Preface: "The first edition was written at the urgent request of Mr. Blair.... The great success of the first edition, the discovery of new facts and the need for adding an account of more recent efforts to recover the treasure have led to this second edition and the almost complete revision of the story." The only textual difference between this 1973 issue and the 1967 first issue of the second edition is the jacket flap blurbs. In the interim the author passed away and that (and his Masonic connections) is noted on this jacket. Small chip off jacket front top left. Binding sound and hinges secure. Front free endpaper festooned with signatures, likely participants in a production of The Magic Piper of Hamelin at the Convent of the Sacred Heart [Halifax], December 8th, 1977.
